Firecreek Ale House
About This Spot
Stepping into Firecreek Ale House feels like finding a familiar corner of town where time slows just enough to savor the moment. Nestled along Yelm Highway in Lacey, this bar & grill carries the easygoing warmth of a neighborhood gathering spot, where the buzz of quiet conversation mixes with the clink of glasses and the occasional laughter from friendly servers who know their regulars by name.
The atmosphere strikes a balance between comfortable and spirited—a place where casual meals feel just as special as weekend nights out. Whether it’s the steady pour of a favorite local ale or the rich aroma of wood-fired specialties, there’s a thoughtful attention to the simple joys that make dining more than just a routine. It invites you in with the promise of laid-back, satisfying fare, and a pace that doesn’t rush but rather invites connection.
Here, the kitchen crafts classic bar and grill favorites with a touch of heart: the kind of dishes that show up time and again on shared tables, sparking easy conversation. From the perfectly cooked steaks to crunchy, fire-dusted starters, each plate feels like an honest nod to comfort, with just enough flair to keep curiosity alive. Morning visits offer a fresh take on familiar breakfast staples, while afternoons and evenings bring everything from hearty sandwiches to inventive flatbreads, all pairing effortlessly with a crisp beer or a carefully made mimosa.
What makes the experience at Firecreek linger isn’t just the food, but the rhythm of human moments—servers whose warmth turns routine orders into casual companionship, the accommodating nod when you ask for a cozier booth, and the way the evening light softens over a welcoming room full of familiar faces and new friends alike. It’s a place where the everyday act of sharing a meal feels quietly celebratory.

Food was super good. Steak was cooked perfectly. French dip was great. Fries were great. Chicken strips were a bit over cooked but tasted good. Little spendy but not bad. Long Island tasted horrible. Would eat here again.

A solid club house restaurant! Great weekly specials coming out of the kitchen. Crisp 22 ounce Coors Light pours. Waitresses are really friendly and treat the old golfers well.

First timer here, my husband and I really enjoyed our food. My photos don't do the food justice. I ordered the steak sandwich and hubby had a burger. Our server was very funny, friendly, and attentive. We will definitely be going back to try their prime rib and the rest of their menu. The atmosphere was very nice, we asked for booth after being seated at a small table and they accommodated us. I wanted to be closer to a window seat for good ambiance. I can't wait until the weather gets warmer to check out their outdoor seating. I highly recommend them and will definitely be going back!

Stopped in again for a weekend prime rib. Liz took great care of me, her suggestion for the cream Brûlée cheese cake was perfect. Consider ordering the prime rib a step below your desired temp. It’s a great salt and herb crusted cut. :)

Nice place to drop in to, for a burger & a brew. We had a late dinner, arriving at 8pm Sunday, & they closed at 9pm. Despite our server being near the end of her shift, she was friendly, & we got good service here. My wife & I enjoyed our dinners. The cook nailed my Black & Blue Burger, & best of all, there were tons of Blue Cheese crumbles on top of a pretty darn thick & tasty burger patty. This restaurant is directly behind the 18th hole of Capitol City Golf Club.
